A quick movement, almost a reflex, very well rehearsed, mechanic. Pull the rewind lever up, open the back, put the film in, push the film advance lever, look around, shoot something, anything, to get the film going. The first frame was always half burnt. This is revealing of my state of mind on the moment, but also revealed only partial clues.
